Wax fue una banda ochentera formada por Andrew Gold y Graham Gouldman que pertenecían previamente a otra banda británica llamada 10 cc.

En la corta carrera que estuvieron juntos, ganaron gran fama debido a este tema, “Right between the eyes” (número 1 en “Los 40 principales” el 1 de Agosto de 1986) y tuvieron algún que otro éxito como “Bridge to your heart“.

Después de separarse, siguieron trabajando en algunos proyectos juntos, y una colección de esas tomas y rarezas fue publicada como “Wax Bikini” a través de sitio web de Andrew Gold.
