Una canción que elevó a Tasmin Archer a la fama, pero solo en forma de “One hit wonder”, ya que después de ella, esta chica no ha hecho mucho (como la Cantudo). Pero la verdad es que lleva trabajando en el mundo de la música desde hace mucho tiempo, y sigue en ello actualmente.

La canción se lanzó el 31 de Agosto de 1992, y permaneció en el número 1 dos semanas, y 17 semanas rondando por las listas. Posteriomente, en Octubre se lanzó el disco “Great expectations” que incluía dicha canción. Tasmin escribió la canción en los años 80, pero no fue hasta ese momento, en que decidió grabar el tema.

En 1993 ganó un premio Brit Award en la categoría de Mejor revelación musical británica. Tasmin bromeó algunas veces diciendo que había dejado el premio en el fondo de su cocina, y que a veces lo usaba para partir nueces o ablandar la carne.

En 1997, después de sacar su segundo disco junto a la casa discográfica EMI, llamado “Bloom”, tuvo desacuerdos con la compañía y abandonó la misma, dejándole esta experiencia muy desilusionada.

Después de un parón de dos años, reanudó su carrera musical, compaginándola con algunas actividades en la pintura y el moldeo de arcilla.

El 25 de Septiembre del 2006, Tasmin publicó su disco “On” bajo su propio sello discográfico (Quiverdisc).
