Stephanie de Monaco - Ouragan (Irresistible)

La dísloca princesa Estefanía de Mónaco, entre escándalo y escándalo, se dedicó también a cantar, siendo este su único éxito por el que probablemente será recordada. Estefanía era la princesa que más molaba de toda Europa; mientras otras iban de acto en acto como unas sosainas, Estefanía nos deleitaba con sus saltos de protocolo y tomas de sol en top-less.
El tema “Ouragan” (Huracán), tuvo una versión también en inglés, “Irresistible“, que ya sabemos que lo inglés vende cantidubi, y aunque cambiemos el título de Huracan a Irresistible, nadie se dará cuenta. Igualmente, se hicieron dos versiones del video: una francesa y otra inglesa. El tema fue compuesto por M. Leonor y Romano Musumarra.
La canción se lanzó el verano de 1986 y permaneció en el TOP 50 durante 4 meses, siendo número 1 en Francia. Estaba dentro del álbum “Live your life” que produjo Yves Roze, que tenía también una versión del mismo disco para el mercado francés llamado “Besoin”. Del disco “Besoin”, se extrajo la balada “I’m waiting for you“, que me pone los pelos como escarpias del sentimiento que destila.

De ese mismo album, salieron algunos singles que pasaron algo más desapercibidos, aunque por ejemplo “One love to give” fue número 1 en Suecia y “Flash” también fue un “éxito”. La versión de “Rendez-vous” al inglés se plasmó en un video estupendo del tema “Dance with me“, donde Estefanía baila sin parar cual Jennifer Beals.
En 1991, Estefanía sacó un álbum en Estados Unidos llamado homonimamente “Stephanie” y que produjo Ron Bloom. El éxito fue tal que aun se escuchan las carcajadas desde Arkansas y propició que Estefanía se dejase de cantar para seguir su vida monacal. De aquí se extrajo como single “Winds of chance“.
Algún que otro disco salió en 1993, “Rendez-Vous” y en el 2000, “Ouragan”, que eran recopilatorios que llevaban algunas remezclas.

saludos, no recuerdo en que año se presentó la princesa en un festival de acapulco mexico, me parece que antes de conocerse que andubo con su guardaespaldas (o algo así), y presentó material en ingles, de casualidad sabes cual fué?. gracias.
Pues lo siento, pero no tengo ni idea. Por lo que dices, debería ser precisamente “Ouragan” su primer material discográfico. Si dices que era en inglés, sería “Irresistible”. Esa sería mis suposiciones.
Alguien Tiene o sabe de la cancion “por que te fuiste papa”, es muy pegadiza la melodia, por favor la busco desde hace tiempo. Creo que es de stephanie.

Hola amigos!!! A pesar que las críticas son fuertes contra la Pricesa Sthephy, sin duda tiene ángel y su tema Huracán o Irresistible fue irresisitible con la que ahora es mi mujer
Pero como es eso que la princesa tiene cara de machorro, si está muy femenina. Como cantante no ha vuelto a grabar hace muchos años, es una lástima porque tiene una voz muy melodiosa. Las personas que estamos entre los 35 y 45 años nos identificamos con esta canción Ouragan, de la misma forma que se identifican con los temas de Glenn Medeiros
